“Therefore, speak to them and tell them: This is what the Lord God says: When anyone from the house of Israel sets up idols in his heart, puts a sinful stumbling block before his face, and then comes to the prophet, I, Yahweh, will answer him appropriately. I will answer him according to his many idols.
Ezekiel 1:4
Before you present yourself to the Lord you must get rid of any idol that would make you stumble. Anything that fills your heart rather than God is an idol. Your heart has only one seat and is made for one passenger, not two. Either Jesus takes the seat in your heart or something else; Material, family, friends, a statue that you bow down to, yourself…etc. Only worship Jesus Christ, the creator of heaven and earth. If you go to the Lord in prayer with an idol in your heart He will rebuke you and not answer your prayer.

That was a great post SpaniardVIII. I liked that you spoke on a topic that we as Christians seem to forget.
If we decide to go and pray to God but we have idols that we bow down too, He will won’t listen becuase we have replaced Him with Material possessions.
