Two Things God Expects From Us

7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ. -1 Corinthians 1:7 BSB

While we wait for the Rapture, the Lord has equipped us with special gifts to spread the message of Christ and teach new believers how to live for Jesus through the Word of God.

So, those are the two things God expects from us. To be busy doing His will and believe that Jesus will come for us before the Great Tribulation, as the phrase “as you eagerly await the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ” means, as it points to 1 Thessalonians 1:10, which carries the same language, that says, “and to await His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead—Jesus our deliverer from the coming wrath.”
