The Scripture promise’s that believers in Jesus Christ will be spared from the coming seven-year Great Tribulation. That period of time—the wrath of God—is aimed at unbelievers, see Romans 1:18, to punish them for rejecting Christ, and to bring them to repentance, see Revelation 14:6-7. However, those who receive the mark of the beast have made their decision to reject Jesus in favor of the Antichrist and will no longer make it to heaven.
