Through The Book Of 1 John [3:4]

The Book of 1 John

4 Everyone who commits sin also breaks the law; sin is the breaking of law.

  • Sin means to disobey God’s Word. Also, sin and evil are one and the same. Sin gives birth to hatred, murder, stealing, and a hatred for what is good.
  • Break means to go against
  • The law means righteousness, what is good, and teaches you how to love God and how to treat people in a loving way.

Breaking the law is to go against what God said is right. When a person loves God, it is seen through his obedience to His Word.
